The Lo Down on BRADSTOCK XIX - SUMMER 2012!  from Pete Carbocci

Bradstock XIX will take place on Saturday and Sunday, September 1st & 2nd, at beautiful Camp Pa Qua Tuck in Center Moriches. As we approach two decades of music, fun and community service and as we grow into our new location, we have several new ideas that we hope you will enjoy. Live music will begin on Saturday from 4 to 8. All those with a Bradstock invitation are encouraged to come out and enjoy the camp setting. On Sunday festivities will run from 11am until 10pm. We will have the Main stage featuring the finest bands, as always; A Poetry stage, featuring the area’s finest and most diverse poets; and a Folk and Songwriters’ stage, featuring the best local talent.

The bands scheduled to play on Sunday are:
Special Guests, Dave Amram, The Electrix, The Jerry McDonald Experience, Easy Chief, Funkin’ A and Noah’s Arc.
On Saturday we are fortunate to have Miles to Dayton and the Crew presenting Stop Making Sense.
Minimum Donation for the 2 day event is $45 per person, which includes all invitation fees and the usual beverages. For a minimum of $125 per person Platinum Chiefs also enjoy the backstage beer garden, limited edition platinum chief shirt, mug, overnight camping (advance reservations required) and the knowledge that you are supporting a great event and charities. All invitations are available online at bradstock.org beginning late July.
As always children are welcome free of charge accompanied by a donating adult. We will have all the regular treats for the kiddies.

Island Harvest, a food rescue organization that supplies food to the pantries, outreach centers, soup kitchens and shelters of Nassau and Suffolk Counties is still in need of our help; so, please remember to bring non-perishable goods to Bradstock XIX. You donations will be greatly appreciated!
