December 2011 http://milestodayton.net/bandblog.cfm Sun, 27 Jan 2013 08:40:00 GMT http://bandzoogle.com January Chill http://milestodayton.net/bandblog.cfm?feature=3039358&postid=3349123   The January Chill has ushered in some awesome new songs in my head...seeds that are just itching to be planted in the garden of m2d.  Leanne is due in a few weeks, and we are excited to meet the newest member of the Strom Family!  M2D had a blast performing at the Living Room NYC for John Platt's On your Radar, what a great night!We have a bunch of cool gigs this Winter into Spring, many cool listening room gigs from folks we met at Falcon Ridge and NERFA this past year.  Special guests Bill Ayasse and the one and only Alisa Rabbitt will be fiddling with us...Should be great fun.  Lookout soon for an archive page on the website were we will be posting m2d live shows from recent years past that will be available for free download.  Perfect they will not be..but they will be 100% fun and real. It was great to see everyone at the Grey Horse Tavern. It was such an intense feeling for us and a blessing to get to play our music for you last Saturday, and in such a great place. I have always said that when we play the GHT it is the closest most comfortable place next to seeing us in your living room (and we have played some of your living rooms). ? We are excited for the many great things and shows coming up in the new year.?Including some music videos that are in the works for some of our tracks from “Pass it on”, as well as some great performances. ?? Coming up, we will be performing our songs acoustic at the Hard Luck Cafe at the Huntington Cinema Arts Center on Thursday January 19th at 7:30. We here in m2d land are gearing up for a busy and fruitful 2012.  New gigs, reviews, videos, festivals, and tunes!  We are gearing up to do some traveling and earn some new fans on the East Coast in 2012.  Let us know if you want us to come play in a town by you.  You can book us as an acoustic three piece, four piece, or full band five piece band (which we prefer)!  Perhaps one of the most rewarding experience of this year (besides releasing Pass it On at the Boulton Center) has been writing and arranging our song "Pass it On" for HS choir, and getting to accompany the Half Hollow Hills East HS Concert Choir in the world premiere performance of the song.  What a blast!  I think we may have to take the choir on the road with us.....
